PM Narendra Modi Says Thanks To Karan Johar, Rajinikanth... For Supporting The Ban On 500 & 1000 Notes

Social media was abuzz with tweets, messages, memes based on the recent demonetization of 500 and 1000 rupees notes. Bollywood industry too posted messages appreciating the decision.

And now PM Modi has acknowledged their gesture by posting a Thank You message to all who have supported him in this decision. He has posted messages for celebrities like Rajinikanth and Karan Johar in his tweets:

As far as Bollywood’s reaction on the black money issue is concerned, filmmaker Mukesh Bhatt does not deny that black money was a large part of the film industry in 80s and 90s. While talking to SpotboyE.com exclusively, he said "But please understand that we were then subjected to a very high income tax, nearly to the tune of 85 per cent. Today, everyone in the film industry is paid in cheque. Black money?
